THE GALLERY
Founded in 1989, La Bottega is unique in its identity and personality, more than just a gallery, it represents a real reference point for contemporary Tuscan art. We have a collection of paintings and sculptures by over 70 different artists, with over 800 catalogued works.
Our Bottega has a creative approach similar to that of the ancient renaissance workshops: a place where artists develop a continuous dialogue and an exchange of knowledge through their art work and different creative sensitivity.
The ensemble of artists is like an orchestra whose symphony is conducted by Mario Cappelletti, with the thought and intent to always find new ways of exposure and expression, thanks to the many initiatives and collaborations in which the gallery is involved in order to promote its members.
From 2013 La Bottega presents “Tuscan Art on Tour”, a new way to transport the art and the atmosphere of the gallery abroad, travelling with a wide selection of works in different European locations and in the USA, where we have promoted several initiatives and collaborations, mainly in the City of Chicago, IL.

La Bottega counts more than 4.800 customers worldwide in over 40 different countries. Amongst the USA only, counting customers in each one of the 50 states, more than 2.500 art pieces have been shipped.
Each customer is taken care of personally, from the choice of the art piece to its delivery, by the owners of la Bottega Art Gallery; Mario and Claire Cappelletti and their daughter Nicole.
In over 30 years of business they have created many collaborations and friendships with people from all over the world.

GALLERY OWNER AND CEO
Born in castellina in Chianti in 1958, has always had a great passion for art and his tuscan roots. After founding the gallery in 1989, he has sold art and antiques to customers all over the world. A real entrepreneur with great love for his job.
Nicole Cappelletti
web designer
Born in 1988 has always had a passion for art, after her degree at the Art Institute of Siena she completed her studies in painting restoration at “Palazzo Spinelli” in Florence.
Claire Cappelletti
Customer Support
Born in Chicago USA, in 1958, has a degree in graphic design from Drake University. Her passion for art brought her to study painting restoration in Florence and move there permanently after meeting Mario.
